Alberto Polimeni

Founder

After earning law degrees in both Florida and Italy, and receiving advocacy honors including membership in the Order of Barristers, Alberto began his career representing international clients in business, litigation, immigration, and cross-border matters. By age 31, he had become Partner and Director of the Italian Client Practice Group at a national law firm with hundreds of attorneys, where he also co-directed international legal operations. He then continued building his client-focused business and cross-border practice in boutique business law firms before founding Nestra Legal.

Alberto’s experience includes Florida state and federal litigation, shareholder and member disputes, UCC and CISG matters, FLSA and ADA claims, IP disputes, high-value business transactions and compliance, and investor and executive immigration petitions, including E-2, L-1, O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 matters.


He has advised EU and U.S. companies as outside general counsel, represented clients in negotiations and litigation, and worked on matters involving member exits, international business transactions, and M&A matters with individual deal values up to the high eight figures.


He has also handled compliance and general counseling for publicly listed and technology companies, including a major online travel platform, and U.S. and EU legal work for international events, brands, and talent.


Alberto is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish. He has published in international legal journals, including on cross-border liability issues arising from the Costa Concordia litigation.
